Please join us for a night of inspiring conversation with the labor organizing leader, Ai-Jen Poo.
Ai-Jen is the director of the National Domestic Workers Alliance, a coalition of 60 susidiary organizations that advocate for low-income laborers. She is also the co-director of Caring Across Generations, a national coalition of 200 advocacy organizations working to transform the long-term care system in the US, with a focus on the needs of aging Americans, people with disabilities, and their caregivers.
Ai-Jen is a 2014 recipient of the MacArthur "Genius" Award."a five-year grant given to the nation’s most exceptionally creative individuals, to fund her vibrant, worker-led movement to transform the working conditions and labor standards for private-household workers."
