Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign is completely rewriting the political playbook of conventional strategy. Instead of only visiting early states, Elizabeth Warren is going everywhere from California to West Virginia. Instead of holding a single fundraiser, she’s making every campaign event free, taking photos with everyone who wants one. Instead of using call time to court big-dollar donors, she’s calling grassroots supporters to thank them for chipping in $5 or $20 -- all while releasing an average of 1-2 new policy proposals per week.
In this event, we’ll talk to the campaign’s Social Media Director about how that all translates to social media, and what role social media plays in the campaign’s strategy. Being Elizabeth Warren’s Social Media Director -- what’s that like?

Anastasia is Social Media Director for Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign -- building a grassroots movement to make big, structural change and put power back in the hands of the people.
Before joining the campaign in June 2019, Anastasia led social media at leading political consulting firms Trilogy Interactive and 270 Strategies, where she led social media strategy for clients like Senator Chuck Schumer, Mayor Eric Garcetti, dozens of state and local ballot initiatives like 2016’s Prop 55 and Prop 64 and 2018’s Prop 1 & 2, state and national nonprofit organizations, and more.
Anastasia graduated with honors from the University of Chicago with degrees in Economics and Public Policy.
