Dialogue on the Conflict: The role of the United States in bringing peace?
Add to Calendar
As a part of it's dialogue series Manny's will be hosting a monthly community conversation on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The conflict in Israeli and Palestinian is one of those issues that can be, to many, a third rail. But how can we move forward as an active and engaged citizenry if we can't talk about the issues that matter, learn to listen to people with differing opinions respectfully, or if we put up walls? To that end we are partnering with the Mothers on the March to create space for the community to come together to share their thoughts and ideas on this topic. All are welcome.
The purpose of these dialogues is to utilize physical space and in person gathering to bring people together to listen, learn, and share their thoughts and opinions on difficult topics.
Each dialogue will be centered around a question. We have no pre-determined answers to these questions and are without an agenda. We will divide attendees into small groups of 3-4 to discuss the question then share what they've learned for the larger group.
This month's question is: What should the United States' role be in facilitating peace?
