Stress is not a bad word but we certainly live in an environment where stress is abundant. Chances are most of us are over-stressed! It's out there and it impacts our lives in more ways than we can imagine. The way we think, talk, breathe, eat, sleep, and move all determine how much stress we experience on a daily basis. We can change that!
This session will shed light on all of the stressors that we face in today’s world and how we can take action to lower stress and live a healthier life, mentally and physically.
About Grant Thomas:
Grant is a health and fitness coach that guides individuals to optimize physical and mental fitness.
Grant dove deep into physical fitness but with limited focus on creating balance. This showed up in his body and his life. He built a muscular body with NO function, a bunch of pain, and stress. Through this experience, Grant re-evaluated his health and built a path toward healing his body and his mind.
During a four year stint as Director of Marketing at a startup in San Francisco, Grant experienced the stressful realities of the sedentary lifestyle that we all live in today. He found balance in this stressful world of work and stagnation through movement, mentality, breathing, and optimized lifestyle.
Today, Grant shares his training philosophy, now known as Oddball Fitness. He emphasizes body awareness, functional movement, mobility, breathwork, and proper self care. Grant’s approach is focused on longevity, growth, creativity and fun! He helps individuals lift weights, but, more importantly, lift themselves up to experiencing a healthy and purposeful life.
